As parents, we often strive to find traditions that are both meaningful and playful for our kids. We want traditions that we can experience together as a family, and when it comes to Christmas, we particularly want our children to understand the real reason why we celebrate this special holiday<\/em><\/strong>. It\u2019s not about the lights, the decorated trees, or even the gifts we receive (contrary to what our gift guides might suggest). Christmas is about the birth of a Savior.<\/p>\n

The Christmas Star From Afar<\/strong> is a fun and unique activity that playfully shares the Christmas Story. Starting as early as December 1st, hide the Star and encourage your children to participate in a fun game of hide-and-seek to locate it. Once they have found their Star, move all Three Wise Men to its location. Then, on Christmas morning the Three Wise Men will reach their final destination when the Star is found at the stable with the newborn baby Jesus.<\/p>\n
