Put a timer on your phone, start with one minute and work your way up. Or if your kid doesn\u2019t have the attention span for that, let them be the timer, and tell you when they\u2019re done. <\/p>\n<p>If you want to get a little fancy with it you can find a Youtube channel that is geared towards kids\u2019 meditation. When you are working on these habits in your life your baby will sense your peacefulness and calm. Write it on the calendar if you have to, or put a reminder on your phone. It doesn\u2019t matter how long it takes, just try to make it happen every day so that it becomes a habit. <\/p>\n<p>Some good ideas for times to do it would be in the morning after breakfast, before naps, or before bed. A time of day when it\u2019s important for you and your kids to calm your minds and bodies. It will not be picture perfect every time your kid\u2019s meditation routine happens, but perfection is not the goal. When they\u2019re at home and having a hard time sharing with their siblings you can ask them if they\u2019d like to have a quick meditation with you where you guys can think about the benefits of sharing.
